Quran Learning
We are a team of Muslims who are eager to spread the message of the Quran & the Sunnah through the most easy and effective learning methods.
Mosque Development
Donate and give Sadaqah by constructing a mosque in your name or a loved ones today. Your Mosque will accommodate 100+ worshippers at any one time.
Funeral Service
We provide comprehensive service from the time immediately after death up until the time of burial. The service covers the full costs according to the Sunnah.
Food Poverty
We have initiated various projects to help alleviate local poverty. These have included serving food to local homeless people, providing hampers for families and collecting food for the Foodbank project.
Scouts
We have recently established a Scout Group called the Birkenhead Ansar Scouts. Ansar means ‘helpers’ in Arabic. This initiative seeks to foster a sense of community service and responsibility within our young people by drawing upon the common values of Islam and the Scouts movement.
Partnerships
We work in partnership with local churches, particularly the Church of England Churches under the Bishop of Birkenhead, Keith Sinclair.
Celebrate Eid Brunch
For Eid-Ul-Adha we held a celebratory brunch to celebrate Eid with everybody. We talked about the origins of this celebration of Abraham’s sacrifice and emphasised the similarities of the Abrahamic faiths (Islam, Christianity and Judaism). The Vicar of Christchurch in Oxton, Rev. Karen Freeman spoke alongside our imams. Together we prayed for peace and understanding within our community.
Deen Centre Eco Club
Help us improve our local environment. raise awareness and attract wildlife. Wiral deen centre would like to make a symbol of healing, love and welcome for our friends at Herat4 Refugees this Refugee Week, June 2022.
Education Group
In August 2021 the Deen Centre’s strategic group agreed to create a voluntary Education Group, in order to focus, direct and develop the various educational activities and potential of the centre. Several local teachers and Deen Centre members were invited to attend the inaugural meeting in September and from this several projects rapidly took shape.
Taste Ramadan
Share food, share friendship. At this event people learnt about Ramadan and joined us for our breaking fast meal. Over 300 people attended. You can see the video highlights on youtube.
